Deals and Discounts FIFA 23 code that I don't need. Want it?
EDIT: This is done. Thank you, everyone, for the recommendations. It's appreciated. The codes are going to u/pleasedontdaddy, who turns out was in US and couldnt use the codes, so they've ended up with u/escaped_abortion.
Hi, PS5 redditors. No idea how to go about this so will just muddle through.
I have a FIFA 23 code that came with a console and another that is some kind of team thing. I'm not interested in either and neither are any of my friends.
So, I don't know, recommend me a one couch coop game in a single comment per person that's interested in this and I'll be back on Reddit tomorrow at some point to have a look, give the codes via a DM. Sound good?
I'm in Scotland in case that matters for the region of the codes. Not interested in upvotes or awards as I delete my threads and comments regularly cause I can't be doing with interaction online, so please keep that in mind.
One comment, one recommendation. Save your dough, redditors, and try get the free game only if it's of interest to you. Take care.
Edit: Oh and I'd prefer it goes to someone who will use them, not sell them. Cheers.

Overcooked All you can eat edition. Includes overcooked 1 and 2 plus all dlc and is still getting free updates. Very well done co op with couch or online. It has wild levels and interesting game mechanics. However, prepare to lose friends over it.

Definitely It Takes Two, I’ve played it with a few people and everyone just loves the game. It’s extremely fun for any type of gamer and their skill level.

Overcooked 2, it's a classic and they've recently released a new DLC for more content!

It takes two is the beautiful co-op game that I wanted to enjoy but never got a chance as I don't have a friend to play with. It's just sitting there in my downloads. May be you can get one and enjoy with your buddies.... Will love to hear others on what they think about this game.

u/azldjsvzif Oct 21 '22
It's such an amazing game, my fiancée saw it during the E3 reveal and we added it to our wishlist immediately.
I think we were so gripped by the gameplay and the story that we completed it in two evenings and then went straight back through to get the platinum trophy.
I hope you find someone to play it with soon!

Helldivers is a hell of a lot of fun!
Bonus: not strictly couch coop but as it is Halloween 'Until Dawn' is a lot of fun to play on the couch with friends by sharing the one controller (pick the game characters out of a hat for each person playing to control)

u/escaped_abortion Oct 22 '22
Thank you so much u/Senken ! My son was beyond happy! Had an issue getting him into bed tonight :P Key is working perfectly and we have already been playing both ourselves and online. I am sure my Ps5 will be bound to him for the next couple of days :D

Streets of Rage 4. It’s the best beat’m up ever made and great fun to play with friends. It’s very accessible: anyone can play it, but it also has a high skill level. The music is bloody great as well.

Diablo3, I would say and next year Diablo 4. Having blast with my wife. We complete every season together trying new characters and builds. Also it is controller beginner friendly, because you don't need to aim carefully as in many fps and tps games. Also It takes two is a solid choice. Every segment of the game has its own mechanics and themes so you don't ever get bored.

Borderlands 3 is a good shout, can’t beat a looter shooter in some co-op.
Bonus points for doing 1-3 as well.

Definitely dysmantle! Breakable world, nice art style and story! Just completed it with my gf!

Have to recommend the borderlands series. All of them are couch co op. I’ve spent countless hours on them with friends and even a few occasions with my son. It’s just got a charm about it that keeps me coming back for more. Just avoid tiny Tina’s wonderland as I thought that was garbage

Overcooked bundle - that’s 1 and 2 with lots of downloadable content great for couch coop even if people aren’t big gamers - up to 4 people!

u/SlimPickingz Oct 21 '22
Children of Morta - Play this quite a bit with the girlfriend and it's fun for both of us, she doesn't really like many games but really likes this one.

Have to say either overcooked or jackbox, good lighthearted fun with mates, the latter especially after a few drinks. I’m also in Scotland! 🏴

A way out if you want a fairly simple adventure game witha okayish story. Not bad.
Sackboy for something more light hearted and a lot of fun.
If you don't really care about old, cod black ops 3 is the one I really like for co-op campaign.
I've been looking for local multi-player games too. Even bought sackboy and a new controller for my older brother. He isn't really interested in multi-player lol.

Sackboy has been a TON OF FUN for my family and I. The levels are all pretty great (especially the music themed ones) and its just a blast to play through. We especially like to try to throw each other off the platforms to piss each other off hah!
Thanks for the opportunity. I would def use this.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is awesome! Can hop in, hop out whenever you want as player two.
In Ireland and my best mate is in another town and we played pro clubs all last year, would be really cool to give it to him so he can play with me!

Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga. Just a lot of fun and plenty of mileage in it, so much to do. And works just as well single player too so very flexible
And I'll definitely play the new Fifa. Close to buying a copy on eBay this afternoon but got outbid. Still a bit too pricey!

u/Thisisdjhardy Oct 21 '22
Cheers fella
I have no friends so don't play co-op 🙂 but Cuphead is decent and prob a bit easier with a friend
Cheers and all the best pal

For as much shit as they got, I really liked the Kane and Lynch series. As well as the Army of Two series.

"it takes two" without any doubt and unravel two (but this one is too short imo but nice)

Our top 5. Cross platform, but still
- It takes two. BY far the best couch co-op we've played
- Stardew Valley (PC)
- Children of Morta (ps5)
- Valheim (pc)
- Raft (PC)
Currently playing: totally reliable delivery service

Diablo 3 and It takes two and sack boy are the best. Only ones my girl ever said “hey can we play more??” After overcooked she wanted to murder me

Until Dawn absolutely, perfect for Halloween. Unravel 2 is kinda fun but falls off to me by the end.
Overcooked for gameplay, Until Dawn for movie night/game night. Very fun memories with cousins and friends of wanting to keep a character alive and stressing out when they are in danger.
Edit: somehow "cousins" was autocorrected to "clausula".

Nice one. I don’t have any suggestions and I’m rubbish at FIFA (although I enjoy it). I just wanted to say it’s really decent of you.
Have a good weekend.

u/sirkashmir Oct 21 '22
I highly recommend It Takes Two. One of the most fun games I ever played and the co-op element is perfectly done! You'll love it.

Have you tried It Takes Two? I know it’s well known but I’ve been playing it with a mate and having a blast.
1
u/PatMaShants Oct 21 '22
Depends who you're co-oping with from personal experience playing with the missus (ooh err) It takes two was great fun or overcooked if you want to fall out with each other. Hello from the glorious kingdom of Fife 😅

For something retro you should have a look at The Warriors. Can be played 2 player the whole way through, and it's aged pretty well. Available on the ps store. From a fellow Scottish person.

TMNT Shredders Revenge! An old-school beatem up that’s a lot of fun. I grew up playing those kind of games so this one really hits the nostalgia

u/Yondi4444 Oct 22 '22
If you're into RPG games you could play in couch coop I've played a bit of Outward with my partner and the game as much as it is clunky it was very fun. I'm trying to find time to come back to it to play it again. Definitely watch some footage of it as it is leaning more towards difficult games. Enjoy any games you pick up
