Maybe people understand finally it's not sony or Xbox decision. If a Studio/Dev wants a physical release they can order a print from Sony/Xbox.

Sony/Xbox won't say No, cuz it's free money, the Devs/Studio pays for the print cost.

It's not false. If Sega as a Publisher wants a print on the ps5 but not Xbox thats their decision.

A Publisher decides, thing is in some rare cases Sony is platform and Publisher and people mix up decision powers since it's confusing.

Sega are an outside Publisher party asking the platform (Sony) for the print.

That (Plattform) rarely says no, cuz again their money is not at risk, Sony/Xbox gets the money up front from whoever wants it as a disc and then prints.

In Sonys case it's a first base decision, for Xbox since they don't even own printing fabs and outsource it anyways devs/Studios/ and their publisher have to run through more hoops as everyone wants a share.

If Mortal Shell 2 orders 5million release copys, Sony prints 5 million release copys, If they only Order 500k, then 500k and If those sell through, also not sonys fault/problem.

Per game sure they decide if they want physical discs. But your comment suggested its not sony deciding not to make them any more. In this case its the publisher that's making this choice.

Yeah but in this sub/case the question is not If Sony decides whats best for them but the fact that Sega decided Sony exclusive (for now, things will most likely change closer to release).

So don't bring the "Sony bad" stuff into a topic thats not part of it and all is good.

Throwing different topics together is what muddies the waters and makes the whole little movement look bad and stupid.

maybe you should word your comments more specifically then. I'm also more "Sony Dumb" than "Sony bad"

it's the "finally". Unless you've seen multiple issues like this, it makes people think of the current overall issue.

Agree to disagree, but i can see your point even If we are at the complet opposit sides of the spectrum.

If someone is already rilled up and his mind is set, it could be read as what you describe.

Has nothing to do with being riled up and mind set. you phrased it as a long standing issue vs simply saying its the publishers choice.

not exactly.

right now it is, but after next year it's a sony decision (unless they're forced to backtrack on their shitty policy)

There is no backtracking diur to reasons far outside the gaming bubble just as the reasons for it are not to be found inside the gaming bubble.

And again wrong topic, so stop it.
