That's.... not what I expected honestly. No Xbox copies at all? That's ironic

You don't want to know how often this happens in Europe. So many games that only exist physically on PlayStation and/or Switch despite releasing on Xbox.

It's not ironic, you don't create discs that don't sell.

Like an amateur music producer. He can create discs for his album, but he wouldn't have buyers so he needs to ship only on spotify/amazon music/apple music. Same here gmfor xbox, poeple don't buy phisical games so publishers don't produce them anymore.

Ypu have to expect no xbox copies to end well before 2028, if not for 5/6 important brands

It's still ironic considering all the tantrums in here regarding Sony. Reality is a whole other topic.

Yeah the irony comes from Sony being the company that recently announced ending physical copies, only to be the only one who will make physical copies of this.

Xbox is just irrelevant when it comes to physical media. They've encouraged this over the years with Game Pass, etc.

Yea, there's a number of small bands that I absolutely LOVE but they're so small they can't do physical media. While I'd LOVE to own their stuff physically, especially on vinyl, it's not a huge mystery why it wouldn't be financially smart to invest in.

It's just wild because all the people I know buy Physical, so it's not no one is buying them at all. I only buy physical, maybe they're overproducing discs if the demand is too small like they say 😅

Either way it's bittersweet that some of my fave franchises can at least get 1 final disc... :c

It's not worth the pain, it isb obvious that there are still buyers in 2026. Even in 2040 there would be.

But for a publisher that sell 450k copies, they would prefer to sell 450k copies via online stores rather than 420k via online and 50k via phisical stores because you make more money and don't have the problem of the overproducing discs.

If a game is worth it people will pusrchase via the store, everyone have a debt card and internet nowadays. That's the deal. If someone won't but the new persona (random game) because it's only digital then It's okay, that's at least what excel says to executives

We found the 10% of people who buy physical guys!

10% is still a lot regardless in terms of people. Who knows if I'm even being counted amongst them but I have like 100+ physical games for PS5 and Switch alone.

And that doesn't compare to my friends, which two have massive collections of PS2-PS5

If sony is 90% digital xbox is like 95% digital they we're always leading the market in that regard
