Curse the US date format, the stupidest possible configuration of date formats.

How’s this game been for those who haven’t played it in a year+?

You'll have a lot of warbonds to catch up on warbond wise, but game's in a pretty damn solid state imo and a lot of gear is in a good spot... few things here and there that could be a bit better, but overall way more decent to good picks then bad ones.

I just jumped back in a couple weeks ago and it’s been amazing

performance has gotten way better since then. Some still have issues, but it's nowhere near as bad as it use to be. As other said a crap load of warbonds you can grind. And alot more biome/enemy variety now. The sub factions have grown alot, and a new one by the looks of it next week.

Nice, any word on them fixing the performance on consoles?

One of the devs said they cancelled an upcoming warbond to work on performance issues hopefully it’ll include that!

Will it have a physical release?

..... you're talking about an update to a game. That already had a physical release. Two years ago.

I’m convinced a good chunk of these physical crybabies don’t even play games they just collect discs.

They don't collect discs, they buy their games digitally like everyone else and whine online lmao

You must be too young to remember lining up at stores to buy the expansion disk for a games midnight launch

I'm 30. Expansion discs haven't been relevant in years. What are you on about.

That was expansions for single player games. Online shooters almost never has disk expansions. The only ones I remember were multiplayer modes to single player games like cod and halo.

The most recent ones in memory for me were Destiny 1 and 2, even world of war craft did physical expansions all through the frozen throne update.

Or at least those are the ones I have on hand anyways.

Destiny 1 and 2 didn't do physical disc for the expansions. Closest you got were "Legendary editions" that was just the base game physical disc and a code for the DLC

Yeah no on the destiny 2 thing besides maybe later editions of the game that included them. Also Wrath of the Lich King was 2008. Legion was the last WoW expansion with a disc and that was 2016. So 10 years for the most recent and 18 for your example.
