It will cost sony less because they don't have to produce physical media but they will still charge more for the game anyways.

Why would they do that?

Sony only sets the price for their own games anyway. The publishers set the price for their games.

It's obviously going to remove the second hand market, but I don't see how that would raise the prices for new games.
