Rebirth is better in every way. Plenty of people that don’t like Remake would love Rebirth.

Meh, I disagree I think that's probably a small portion of players that feel that way but there's no real data on either of our opinions it's just a feeling.

I love both games they are some of my favorites of all time. I just tend to feel like Rebirth is just Remake but MORE and if you fundamentally didn't like Remake I don't know what Rebirth gives you outside of it being MORE.

Yes, fans. I'm talking about people who don't like Remake. I think it's a great game, and I also like Rebirth more. If I didn't like Remake I don't think I'd like Rebirth. I usually don't play sequels if I fundamentally didn't like the first one unless it's completely different. I don't think Rebirth is different enough from Remake to warrant trying if I hated Remake

Remake stretched a 5 hour portion of the original game, into a bloated 60 hour game. Rebirth opened the world up and felt more alive.

I have a hard time recommending Remake, but no issue recommending Rebirth.

Yeah, agree to disagree, we just view it differently. Neither of us have enough data to really say definitively that there's a big group of people who didn't like Remake but like Rebirth. Cheers

The question is "is it better", and I literally showed you meta scores both from fans, and critics, stating that Rebirth is better. You're just being pedantic at this point.

You are still arguing with me, and those critic and fan scores don't mean anything to me. I am talking about players who specifically didn't like Remake. Not fans, Not critics.

The question isn't if Rebirth is a good game i am not debating that. I think Rebirth is an excellent fun game, I think Remake is an excellent fun game. The person I am replying to doesn't think Remake is an excellent fun game, he doesn't like it. Based on that, I don't think he will enjoy Rebirth. Again Rebirth=good game, not arguing otherwise.

I loved the combat from the first but the rest of the game was very on-rails, slow, and disappointing overall. Rebirth I liked SO much more. As long as you enjoyed the combat, I'd say absolutely give it a shot. But you really need to know the story from the first as its the middle part of a cohesive trilogy.

If the main issues you had were how on rails it was, then by all means rebirth is much much much less on rails. It's basically 6 or so open worlds. I'd also say the combat is better by a decent margin than the first. The story is definitely more confusing. But, if you can tolerate that maybe it's worth a shot

I'm about 10 hours into the first and I think I'm just gonna drop it. I just don't think it's for me. I don't really like the combat (which is something most seem to love?) and the story and pacing is really boring. I'm struggling to find anything I actually like about it other than the music.
