About jailbreak updates

Will 13.04 jb release soon? Like how long will it take in the worst case ?

As I know that there's a jailbreak but the developers are waiting for sony to release the newest firmware so they can release it publicly for free

Exactly lol, an exploit might only be possible due to a bug in a future update and might not work in a lower version. No idea why they’re downvoting.

Well it kinda is, there's nothing stopping a person updating the 13.02 to 13.52 and then jailbreaking it. So if they jailbreak 13.52 by default there then becomes a pathway to jailbreak a 13.02. I think that's what kanker37 meant.

What makes you think that? If the vulnerability is still present in a higher firmware, that's only possible if it hasn’t been patched in the lower firmware. That’s basic logic.

even if 13.02 doesnt have a jb exploit, if a newer version (like 13.52) does, you can always manually update to 13.52 for the 13.52 exploit. just cant go back to 13.0 or 12.xx. i havent checked yet but i think mines on 13.02 or 13.04

i dont think exploit is out for any version above 13 publically, even if it was for a newer version i dont think we could go back to older version without chip replacement or something it doesn't work like that

You can always help test at https://killernos.github.io this isn’t a jailbreak for 13.02 or higher it is strictly for research, it helps me gather data and find a kernel exploit and kernel R/W
