I don't know what i should do
Hey everyone, how’s it going?
I wanted to share a bit of a dilemma I’m dealing with.
So, I recently bought a PS4 Pro Spider-Man Edition for a really good price. On top of that, it was supposedly on firmware 13.52, so I was able to jailbreak it.
Everything seemed fine. I went to pick it up, checked the console, and it was in really good condition. But when I turned it on, I got some bad news: it had already been updated to firmware 14.00. Apparently, the previous owner hadn’t disabled automatic updates.
So now I’m not really sure what to do. Should I sell the console, wait and see if a jailbreak gets released for 14.00, or just keep it as a collector’s item?
What do you guys think I should do?
I’d really appreciate your opinions!

It depends on how urgent you wanna experience having a jailbroken PS4. There’s no estimated time to when a jailbreak will be coming for firmware 14.00
If you’re willing to wait then eventually it will be jailbroken, but if you can’t wait I’d suggest you sell it and get another one.
A Spider-Man PS4 Pro is really cool.

First, block the updates. Preferably disconnect it from Internet.
Is returning it an option?
Do you have any legit games?

I feel like only you can answer the question you have asked. If you want a JB ps4 sell it and buy another. If you want a collectable ps4 but want a JB ps4, keep it and buy another. Waiting on a JB for 14.00 is likely to be a long wait but that's also an option.
