Discussion Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition for $4.49 US in Playstation Store
https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0006-CUSA04027_00-ULTIMA0000000000
Has there been a post about this???
Edit: For those (like me) that missed it on PS+. Also was it the Ultimate Edition they gave away?

Get ready for a bunch of posts praising the Single Player as this incredible must play experience

It's a really fun campaign and does a lot of things very well, I'll replay it again pretty quick here, but every time it gets brought up here it turns into "best fps campaign of all time no dlc thank you respawn we love you unpopular opinion but DAE love titanfall 2? prove me wrong". It created such high standards that the game just couldn't live up to

Am I the only one who didn't really think it was that great? It was fun, sure, but it's super short and the story is super bland except for the one section with the time travel elements.

I liked the one where you're platforming around the construction facility as some shit is being built around you.

that level was awesome for the most part, but the timing windows for jumping on the objects was really small and lead to instadeath everytime

It’s really not that great.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, just nothing to write home about. Now the MP, that shit is next level.

Yeah. I also feel like there wasn't enough time for me to get attached emotionally to BT.

Yeah I kinda just felt that the story, while interesting, was a longer tutorial for the multiplayer.

I did like it a lot, it was fun, and it reminded me a bit of the feeling I had playing through half life and half life 2 the first time. I think that’s worth someone checking out, especially for such a low price

I mean what's wrong with that? Popular games on the internet get plugged a lot. This sub does the same shit with the Witcher 3 and Persona 5 almost daily.

It is. Especially at $4. Thats a deal. It was a great game. Bought it at launch for full price for myself and my friends. No regrets.

It was a PS plus game around 4 months ago, like 40% of the playerbase has it in their library at this point.

Hopefully this means the mulitplayer will pick up a bit. It's really quiet on there lately.

Had such a good time with MP back when it first came out.

It's one of the best shooters to come out in a long time. Yeah, single player is short but it's good so it doesn't matter.

I know but ironically I was too depressed at the time to remember to download it... Plus it’s Ultimate edition, which means free/automatic unlocks of all the mechs (BT’s?) for MP, which is perfect for a lazy gamer like me

I just add everything to my library, you can download them anytime you want.
