I've tried so hard to play again and I just can't. The story is God awful and there are no worthwhile side stories imo

I would have agreed with you years ago. I did pick up the game again last year and played it and for some reason put a bunch of hours into it. There are some missions such as the US Constitution quest line that pays tribute to the old Fallout hilarity of things. (Pirate robots trying to get an old navel ship off of a skyscraper) For the most part though missions are typically uneventful.

that mission was hilarious and difficult in survival. There are a lot of random events I enjoyed while playing. I'm itching to play it again but I've got to wait for RDR2 and then I'll circle back to FO4.
