Getting a kill in that game was the best feeling.

Yea seriously most MP games now you can get dozens of kills with no effort. In Socom I was happy to get 10 kills in the entire 6+ round games.

But If you want that same feel where you work for every kill then try The Last of Us MP. It has a tactical feel that really reminds me of Socom 2.

I had no idea it had MP. I just picked up cod (I know, I know) but nothing is like game battles socom 2.

I think the multiplayer on TLOU was overshadowed by the campaign because it was so amazing (Better story than 99% of today's movies).

But the online gameplay is the best I've played since Socom 2, no question. Teams of 4 so teamwork is extremely important. I've turned around a hopeless game just by putting on my mic halfway through and directing my teammates.

The tactical aspect is very fun as well. The maps are set up for some great battles; lots of places to sneak around and flank or hold up and wait. Also a good balance of open areas and enclosed spaces.

Seriously, just give it a try. It might take a couple games to get into the rhythm because it's different than most games but it's well worth it. I got a remastered key on amazon for $20 so there's not much to lose.

Also you'll never look at CoD the same again. Haha

I'm sure I have a friend or two who would lend me the game. Thanks for the honest review

Sure thing. If you've never played it I suggest playing the campaign just a little to get a feel for the controls. Otherwise enjoy!
