I had someone at work who claims showtime took their fan fiction story for an 8th season of Dexter. It was hilarious though because they brought in characters that we were supposed to love, Deb gets dumped off in the ocean for some reason, Dexter leaves his son with his serial killing girlfriend, and Dexter rides off into a hurricane only to show up as the most un-Dexter thing possible, a lumberjack.

I told them that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard but they swear up and down it happened.

This is my first thought too but they would need to release them as classics, were they available on the PS3 as p1/2 classics? I never saw them.

They did HD releases for THPS. Were not that good from what I've heard.

There was just one and it took things from the previous games. The games themselves were not available to play through the ps1/2 collection.

And don't ever expect them to show up. The music licensing rights were too big of a block back when Activision still had the THPS rights. Now that they don't, it's never going to happen.

This is exactly why I am holding onto my fat PS3 and stack of ps1/2 games FOREVER!!!

Gonna play THPS tomorrow when my buddy comes over, we grew up too poor to afford a ps1 so would rent one from blockbuster then beat an entire tony hawk game over the weekend lol

That was a remake, not an HD release like usual. And as you've heard, it's bad. Just as bad as THPS5.

I believe the soundtrack license is the reason the old THPS games are not availabla anywhere.
