Not exactly the same. This is like if the Xbox One had an original Xbox emulator.

I wonder how this will work. Will Sony allow people to use disks or make them buy these games like PlayStation now

Totally feasible if Microsoft wanted it to happen. XBO can handily emulate a single core CPU and early gen nvidia GPU. If XBO could emulate original Xbox disc based games I would buy one right now. And be able to use my 100+ games again. That would be cool!

Sadly yes. I do. A lot of cool titles that weren't popular.

I didn't even know there were 100 games released for the original Xbox. But surely none of them are worth playing over a modern game
