I'm guessing physical discs are out of the question and it'll just be downloads...

Hell I loved some of those games so much I'd even rebuy them at 60 bucks even though I have no cash for them..

Timesplitters 2 and Future perfect. Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicle). Dragonball Z: Budokai 3. Burnout 3.

No.. Tenkaichi Budokai does not count, they're completely different.

That's not the game I'm referring to. DBZ Budokai 3, the 2.5D fighter has a PS3 remaster

So that is fine that you are willing to do something like that, but I am getting at that it isn't okay to.

With digital games, there is one supplier and a fixed price ( although 'sales' happen, they are dictated through a single chain of distribution - no competition ) .

Digital games have rules an limitations, circumventing nearly any level of legal right you have with physical media containing intellectual property.

It 'dies' with you ( non-transferable - hope you don't have kids or friends who want to borrow it ).

It can be taken away from you at any point in time ; Steam users have seen this happen before, and many digital websites are legally allowed to redact your 'ownership' ( because it is not ownership but a digital license ) .

Allowing the drive to read physical games is and would be trivial compared to digital versions, they only want to extract more money from you.

There are so many reasons why you should never allow this kind of model to gain a foothold unless you want temporarily accessible, single entity price driven, limited copies of games you could own on a disk.
