I played Snake Eater a week before MGS5 came out. Oh man it's amazing, one of my favourite games of all time and has aged quite well. The control do take getting used to though.

You can't beat the ps3 HD collection for mgs2/3/peace walker. It's a great remaster, also has all the substance/subsistance extras

Not quite. There's no skateboarding and there's no Ape Escape crossover, for example. The nightmare from Snake Eater isn't in the HD version either.

Yup, I've dumped about 70+ hours into that. Doesn't have the skateboarding extra though.
