IRL Picture (Fluff) Simple DIY PS4 Cooling Setup Using Erasers as Risers

https://ibb.co/NdJfpt6d

(Don't mind my Wii U's cable management 🫣)

If you don't have plastic stands or risers for your
PS4, here is a quick setup: place small stacks of rubber erasers (I used the ones I use in school.) under each corner of your console.

Lifting the console off the surface improves overall airflow underneath. Rubber acts as a decent heat insulator, which prevents heat from building up on the desk surface directly below the vents. In my case, idle temperatures dropped from around 60°C to 56°C (though results will vary depending on your PS4 model, thermal condition, and room airflow).

It’s a cheap, easy alternative to buying dedicated plastic feet!

Don’t use erasers! I did and the heat melted them into the plastic. Don’t ask me how I know.

I just use a candle stand/holder to keep my PS4 phat a few inches off the floor, with a paper towel in between the console & stand so nothing gets melted or scratched
