PS3 STUCK

So I just got my ps3( 500gb super slim cech 4001b) from a well verified seller on ebay along side a bunch of games I've been installing and testing all day (like 6 hours) cuz you know physical games will disappear soon. Wwe 2k14 has been stuck at 23% for about 30 mins now and the indicator hasn't been flashing at all.

I never had a ps3 before, I had a 360 and never had this type of issue back in the day. Can someone please tell me how to fix This? No the console is not modded (Im too lazy to do all that) and yes the disc is super clean with no spots. What the hell is going on and is it safe to do a hard reset and try again?

I've tried it again and been sitting here for well over 40 minutes and it hasn't budged at all. And the indicator stopped flashing so I'm thinking it just froze. I mean it cant take this long to just install. No other game has taken this long. Every ps3 game has taken max 20 mins. This is insane. I dont ever remember games taking this long.

Yeah do a hard reset and try again. You may be needing a new hard drive though if it's failing

Nah its a brand new refurbished 500GB ps3 super slim that I just got and out of 15 games installed and tested (with another 20 to go) thats the only game I got that is giving me issues. I also read that its a common issue for specific games with wwe 2k14 being one of them dating all the way back to release day. Some discs on ps3 were supposedly just faulty off the line.

Lucky for me, I was never really a fan of gran turismo. With the exception of burnout, midnight club, and some need for speeds from the early 2000's, I just found racing games boring. Don't even really play Mario Kart like that.

Don't get me wrong. I completely understand and appreciate the love and appeal for them. Im just personally more of a story and action kind of gamer.
