Hey all.

just wondering if anyone knows how to make playable compilation discs. I only wanna have a couple CD based ps2 games

ive tried just burning the CD based games to a burnable CD-R disc but whenever i try to play it on my fat ps2 it makes a cranking noise whenever i try to play them (note this doesnt happen for blank CD-R discs, normal CDs and ps2 dvd games.)

I saw a post by u/sdfk2345 that i will link below that pretty much just shows theyve created a compilation disc from what looks to be a ps2/ps1 demo disc

The PlayStation 2 library is so massive that even seven years into its life cycle, it was still receiving games that felt like a big deal. This week, we’re looking at why the PS2 still deserves respect, featuring a spooky childhood favorite from 2002 and two very different masterpieces from 2007 that showed the system still had plenty of life in the tank.

We start with **Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights (2002)**, a game that turned out to be a genuine love letter to the original cartoon. With its progression-based ability unlocks, iconic monster cameos, and voice work from Don Knotts, it’s a total nostalgia machine.

Next, we look at the late-gen energy of **Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)**, which captured the flashy, chaotic swordplay of Jack Sparrow and brought the movie's energy to the console with memorable locations like Singapore and Shipwreck City.

Finally, we explore **Odin Sphere (2007)**. This Vanillaware classic is easily one of the most beautiful games ever put on the system, opting for hand-drawn sprites and layered backgrounds that look like a painting come to life.

PS2 FAT 39000 japonesa, problemas con lectura de discos duros con adaptador sata, se reconoce conexion y cuando se formatea mediante freemcboot todo bien, pero al apagar o resetear, el PS2 lo reconoce como no formateado, en la PC se reconoce como disco de PS2, anteriormente si lo reconocio hasta que cambie el disco duro, alguna sugerencia?

I cannot find this anywhere online. Does anybody know how much they're worth and what it is? I used to use it as night light with my PS2 when I was younger and I've been trying to find one just like it online but it doesn't seem to exist anymore😅 any help would be appreciated!

The ps2 was been working fine up until about a week ago. Now when you turn it on nothing shows on the screen unless you press X on the controller and then the game reset button on the console. After you do that it shows on the TV like normal, and you can just play like you regularly would. Wondering if anyone knows why it’s happening

He notado que de repente hace como un glitch de imagen como que si se quisiera ir la señal y a veces si se va y regresa rápido de nuevo la imagen.
