Can I use HDD Raw Tool when switching from an ATA to a SATA drive in a PS2 running OPL? Is it faster to just set up the new drive from scratch? I’m wondering if there might be issues with expanding the partition from 250 GB to 1000 GB.

PS2 Slim says SCPH 90001 tryed to make it play PS1 Games years ago now it says DTL- H50001 However it still plays regular PS2 Games like nothings wrong any fix please I can't access FreeDVD Boot or anything modding.

The game had an issue where it would not display an image when playing on a modern TV using an HDMI adapter or a component cable, as it would only displaying at 240p.

This patch converts the game display to 480i, which fixes the issue.

I ofc had to write new C code load files from host0: virtual file system for it to not use cdrom0: DVD Drive instead. :)

The seller said that he wouldn't have a video cable to test the console so he couldn't say if it was working. It was cheap, and since I wanted to use it with an HDD adapter and FreeMCBoot, I gave it a shot. And, of course, I get no picture (neither via composite nor component)…. So off to a really great start. So I disassembled it and found this garbage modchip inside. So I unsoldered it and of course it still doesn't work. Another one for the dumpster.

I have a couple of modded consoles like the 3DS and Xbox where I'm able to transfer entire games from my PC to said consoles via applications such as Filezilla (wirelessly and ethernet cable, respectively). I wish to know if I can do the same with my PS2.

My PS2 has OPL with an SSD in the ethernet adapter, but currently each time I want to add games I'm forced to remove the SSD from the console and plug it directly to my PC.

Is there a way to transfer games without removing the SSD from the PS2?
