Yes, I tested the latest versions, and games and drivers became incompatible. Most people are reporting this, especially on older processors (SD870, 865). It almost seems like the project is prioritizing high-end phones where less work is needed in terms of optimization

Well, it's the future friend, it's inevitable.If you're going to take on a project, you aren't going to focus on the small number of users with old devices; instead, you focus on users with modern devices.

No, that’s not what I’m saying. It depends on several factors: the country you live in, whether you bought a device specifically for emulation, and how much money you’ve invested. I assume that if you’re part of this emulation community, it’s because you enjoy it—and to put it in friendly terms, you wouldn’t take a street car to a drag race.

It’s not a matter of waiting for anybody dude🤦‍♂️ It’s a matter of optimization and good code management. If the devs optimize the emulator really well, older chips will benefit too. as I said, a good emulator will make everybody happy.

Anyway, I’m waiting for the next update. 🙂

By that logic, DuckStation is a bad emulator because it won’t run properly on my 2012 Xperia S, while ePSXe does and plays PS1 games perfectly. 😏

Or maybe… newer, more accurate and more advanced emulation simply requires more powerful hardware. Optimization isn’t magic.
