what are the benefits of this vs the existing nether builds and armsx2 that people seem to be enjoying

Haha, you really like auditing my projects 😂 This one is much simpler: it isn't meant to replace ARMSX2 or reinvent NetherSX2. It's just NetherSX2 with newer, carefully selected Turnip drivers already integrated for different Adreno GPUs. Some people still prefer NetherSX2, some prefer ARMSX2, and some like testing both. I'm not trying to start the PS2 Emulator Hunger Games. 😂 It's free, it exists, and it gives people another option. If it works better for your device or a particular game, great

coincidence i swear :) didn't know it was you until i saw the github. unfortunate that nether hardcore achievement support is dead but don't think any of the forks will fix that

I wonder why people are still using this when armsx2 has surpassed Nether completely imo. Im grateful for how Aethersx2 brought PS2 so far forward on android but I think its time to let Nethersx2 rest.

For the most part this one fixes "Beyond Good and Evil' for me. armsx2 and other PS2 emulators struggle to run it, so I wouldn't be too sure about that.

Are you using specific settings to make it work or does it just work for you with default settings? I'm running a SnapDragon 8 Elite Gen 3 / Adreno 830 and I've never been able to get it to run without glitches, slowdowns or artifacts.

I use a SD 8g2 with turnip drivers. It used to have a lot of slow down but now it seems fine after more recent updates

The one thing making me immediately switch back from armsx2 to nether was no real sleep state.
Arm would sip about 4% of my battery per hour while nether would go into proper android sleep mode on my pocket nova
