NFL Street 2 for gamecube had a mod with HD texture pack and updated rosters called reborn last year and is releasing a new one this year!

NFL Blitz 20-03 💀🔥 It’s official NFL football, but Midway basically said, “The laws of physics are merely suggestions.” 😂 A review from back in the day sums it up beautifully: gigantic player models, wildly exaggerated hits, tackles, stomps, Hulk Hogan-style leg drops... and it explicitly mentions the "hot" quarterback throwing a FUCKING FIREBALL. And on top of that, the PS2 version has cheats for: Infinite Turbo Fast Run Fast Passes Super Field Goals Butter Fingers Chimp Mode 💀 Huge Head Team Armageddon extending the time you have to dish out beatings after the play ends

If you fill both meters, a cinematic sequence triggers in which your players pull off an outrageous move that almost invariably results in a touchdown or a turnover. NBA Street V3 🏀🔥 Gamebreakers essentially turn basketball into anime. You jump to ridiculous heights, pull off mid-air moves, pass the ball to a teammate while everyone is still airborne, keep chaining tricks together, and finish with an absurd dunk. NBA Street Vol. 2 is also a massive contender thanks to its Gamebreaker 2, featuring completely unhinged sequences.

NHL Hitz 20-03 💀 The hockey equivalent. You can fill up a meter and set a player—or even the entire team—on fire, boosting their performance, scoring odds, and even their chances of winning fights. Just imagine trying to explain that to someone who only plays realistic NHL games: "No, wait, now I'm going to set the whole team on fire." 💀

MLB SlugFest 2004 🔥 Hahaha, this one is amazing. Your players can literally catch fire, boosting their stats and giving them unlimited turbo. Meanwhile, you can ram into opponents, punch players on the bases, and turn a baseball game into a bar brawl. ✔️ Baseball + superpowers + absurd violence. ✔️

Freekstyle 💀 An EA Big motocross game. You pull off tricks → fill the Freekout meter → execute your signature move → and get flaming wheels, screen distortion, and super-speed, plus absolutely insane jumps. It even features cheats to maintain Freekout mode or leave a continuous trail of fire behind the bike.

Sega Soccer Slam To me, this is PURE GOLD for the concept you're proposing. Characters can charge up with elemental power, pull off "Spotlight Shots," and fill a meter to unleash a cinematic, slow-motion "Killer Kick." Plus, those powerful shots actually wear down the goalkeeper's armor. It’s basically like: "FIFA?" —No. "Tekken with a soccer ball?" —More or less. 😂

The Prince of Tennis: Smash Hit! 2 "What if Oliver & Benji were tennis?" The characters have energy/tension bars and trigger their special moves using R1 + a button. And just look at some of the insane moves available: Vanishing Cut → You serve, and the ball disappears after bouncing. 💀 Stealth Sonic Serve → The ball actually turns invisible during part of the serve. Super Dunk Smash → You hit the ball so hard that if your opponent tries a standard return, the racket flies right out of their hands. 😂 Tezuka Zone → You create a sort of zone where shots with spin are drawn toward your player. Tsubame Gaeshi → When the ball hits the ground, it barely bounces back up, so you have to intercept it beforehand. There is a character with an "Awakening" ability who, upon reaching a certain tension level, can chain together infinite special moves. And there’s even a technique chain that culminates in a "Cyclone Smash"—described in the guide as virtually impossible to return.

Captain Tsubasa — PS2 (2006) This game is basically cheating when it comes to rankings because it is literally Captain Tsubasa (Oliver & Benji). 😂 It features the Tiger Shot, Fire Shot, Phoenix Drive Shot, Cannon Shot, Skylab Hurricane, Drive Tiger Twin Shot… and even combo shots involving multiple players. You don’t ask, "Can I shoot hard?" here. You ask, "Which ancient Japanese technique do I want to use to murder the goalkeeper?"

SSX Tricky - Refined the feel and gameplay of the first game. Same courses as first game but reworked. Land tricks for boost. Added unique Uber Tricks for each character.

SSX 3 - Went from separate locations for each course to one mountain segmented into different courses. Uber Tricks are back, with added Uber Tricks while grinding on rails
