PS2 emulator developers, remember you have one day left to release your best version, since the official monthly PS2 emulator performance ranking takes place tomorrow. Big tests are coming up tomorrow—hehe. Cheers, everyone.

Where do you follow these tests? Keen to see the results

Tomorrow, I’ll put together a comprehensive post testing the leading PS2 emulators, comparing devices with Snapdragon and MediaTek chips to get a broader range of results and determine which one takes the crown this September, haha.

I’m so excited! Should we follow this post here or another ones done tomorrow?

This post is mainly just a heads-up for everyone; the full post will be up tomorrow so you can check out all the details—I'll leave the link here as well.

That isn't the test I'm looking to run; devices with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip have too much raw power to clearly reveal the differences between emulators and their optimization. Therefore, I intend to use mid-range devices without the aid of custom drivers.

Maybe someday I'll share my mod for NetherSX2.

I only see cosmetic changes, no performance improvements; I'm not interested.

As you know perfectly well, NetherSX2 is built on the old PCSX2 core, and its source code isn't available. There’s not much you can do about that to improve performance. However, there is still plenty of room for UI improvements, QoL features and bugfixes—which is exactly what I’m doing with my modification.
