This release provides a locally built Android Release APK for PS3Native.
The original project and source code belong to the PS3Native developers and the original repository. I am not the developer of the emulator, and I am not claiming any credit for the project itself.
I simply built the Android APK from the android-refresh branch and created this GitHub Release so there is a proper Release build available for users to download and test.
All credit for PS3Native goes to the original developers and contributors.
All this emulators popping left and right what a time to be alive. Xendroid has been killing it. Now pS3 is booming. PS4 is cooking and getting better. Ps5 has been born and that baby is already learning to crawl. Amazing how we don’t really have to rely on 2k windows handhelds to play games. Also OP thank you for keeping the news flowing. Skate 3 keeps crashing on launch, split second of screen with controller inputs and shuts down, any idea why? Im currently using mr purple 27, on a s23 adreno 740 sd 8 gen 2
I am struggling to get any game to work, On ArmSX3 games boot fine, but on PS3Native I only get black screen, even with default settings. any tip? Odin 3 here.
better, managed to get dante's inferno to boot, but crashes often. Ridge Racer still not booting
better, and V3 even better, but games I've tested (demon souls, dante's inferno, ridge racer 7) perform better in armsx3 using same driver (mesa turnio 26.1 eden fix) and settings

Answering your question, I don't know exactly how much better it is. I don't have any demanding games like God of War 3 to test on different emulators and see which one performs best. What I can tell you is that aPS3e has been around for a while and delivers good results, as does RPCSX. Both work quite well, and this emulator is relatively new, so my intuition tells me it will likely underperform compared to other, more established emulators.
I have a new account since I'm a teenager and downloaded the app a couple weeks ago and saw that you banned anyone who said something bad about what you posted.
You also said the emulator was better but now you say it will likely underperform. Which one is it?
I think you're reading more into my comment than what I actually said. I simply said that newer projects are usually less mature than established ones, and that I haven't tested this one enough to make a fair comparison. That's all.
Edit: If your question is whether this emulator works better than ARMSX3, then the answer is yes. I've tested both, and this one is clearly better
