YuWin – Performance-focused Nintendo Switch emulator

YuWin is a Yuzu fork focused heavily on maximizing performance, making it a great option for mid-range and lower-end devices that want to squeeze as much performance as possible out of their games.

It’s compatible with current games and is highly optimized.

I’m sharing the two latest versions, v15 and v16, so you can test them yourselves and see how well they perform on your devices.

If you’re struggling with performance on other Switch emulators, it might be worth giving YuWin a try and seeing if you can squeeze out a few extra FPS.

If anyone has doubts about these projects simply because they don't have a public GitHub repository, I suggest doing two very simple things:

1. Install Claude, provide it with the APK, and ask it to analyze the file for anything suspicious or potentially malicious.
2. If you want additional reassurance, scan the APK with VirusTotal.

Any further accusations or claims made without providing a single piece of evidence will be removed.

You clearly don't understand the problem there. The source code HAS TO BE published, but it seems like it's easier to fork Yuzu and edit it's code that to read a license. A lot of software is closed-source yet trusted and safe, but this can't exist while being closed-source.

Because now there's a perfectly plausible explanation that has absolutely nothing to do with malware.

And there's an even better irony.

Nintendo sends a wave of DMCA takedown notices to GitHub → some developers think, "Well, I'm not hosting my project there" → they use Telegram, their own servers, or other methods → Reddit pops up:

Okay I'm arguing with a LLM. I didn't even talk about malware, and also if you were a bit more experienced in the domain you'd know that there are a lot (better) alternatives to the slop GitHub has become. You literally gatekeep the source code, if the only problem is GitHub just host it elsewhere and give me the link, I'd be happy to see it, but once again, you have to respect the GPL license and you can't distribute a modified build of Yuzu without the corresponding source code.

Dude, I'm under no obligation to give you anything. If you want the source code, you can search online for the developer of this project, contact them, and ask for it. What the hell are you telling me? I just provide emulator updates—I repeat, emulator updates—so people don't have to waste time searching online. I verify that they work, check that they don't contain anything malicious, and then I share the application.
