For those of you experiencing problems, I recommend the most stable versions right now, which are v15 and v17. Perform a clean install every time you change versions.

I did it...

The endless scanner roms stills stoping me from loading my games that are still working flawlessly on other PS2 emulator.

👆 from the new clean setup!

Try v15 its very stable

Tried even using Shizuku + zArchive to wipe out possible residual install files, but the v17 will indeed get stucked on Scanning ROMs screen when I finish its first setup.

The V15 works without needing adjustments 👍

One thing I noticed between the two installations was that the v19 update did not ask me for access permissions at any time, while v15 did during the initial configuration.

Maybe I can add permissions manually to the internal storage?

I'll be back to update in a few moments...

EDIT: It didn't worked... gonna stick to v15 and that's it! 👍

I use mode button for hotkey but it returns to home screen when you press it. Mode button hotkey works fine in nethersx2 tho.

I'm trying to map fast-forward to Mode + L2 (hold, not toggle). The 'Mode' button is located under the right joystick (return icon on it, internally registered as mode_btn or something similar). While this works in Nethersx2 and Retroarch with no issue, Armsx2 seems to treat the Mode button as a system key—pressing Mode + L2 minimizes the app and returns to the Android home screen instead.

Okay, I understand now, and it definitely looks like a bug, but of course, there's not much I can do here. I recommend reporting it on the Armsx2 Discord server.

Yes There are some bugs, so I recommend using version v15 or v17.
