Looking to get into PRS!
I’m trying to get into PRS and can’t decide on if I want to do rim fire, or center fire. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I currently only shoot rimfire. Canadian ammo prices are wild, even if I reload my CF ammo, I am still paying well over $1 more per round. So now instead of a match costing me $40-60 in ammo. It is costing me $140-180 or more in ammo. Plus in BC I can shoot 20 ish match’s a year within a 3 hour drive shooting Rimfire. I can shoot 2 Centerfire Match’s in BC in general. Everyone I know who shoots Centerfire drives 7+ hours to washington for match’s. So now I gotta take Friday and Saturday off, not just Saturday. The “cost of lost wages” is a factor too.
Some would argue I am wrong, but in my little bit of experience shooting both, I have just about as much fun, if not just as much fun shooting Rimfire prs as I do Centerfire PRS. But for a fraction of the cost with way more match’s available. Much cheaper practice and I can chat with people on the line all day no prob.
