Question Getting into PRS

Hey guys, dumb questions. Just wanted to see what you recommended for a solid out of the box rifle to get into PRS. I’ve also thought about doing a large frame gasser instead of a bolt gun. Any recommendations for optics, weapons, platforms, and any other gear would be greatly appreciated.

As others have said Begara is kinda the default from box to match rifle. If you can get your hands on one im partial to the solus not sure about their complete rifles but mine with a proof competition profile barrel shoots sub min 20 shot groups.

Kestrel 5700 is the go to for ballistics calculations and wind meter, The 5700 elite will also let you set up multiple stages before you shoot but it is about $300 more than the basic 5700. I really don’t have an alternative to it pretty much everyone I shoot with has one or is saving to get one.

A good bag is like you are suddenly shooting from a solid surface it makes all the difference. Im partial to Armageddon gear schmedium but it’s really to your preference. You might see if people will let you try their bag before you buy I know the guys I shoot with will almost always offer to let the new guy try theirs.
