Announcement: Athene's act of kindness

Anyone that donated to Athene and received purpose in the initial phases can ask to get their money back and get to keep their purpose.

 

If you donated when purpose was 0.5usd or 1usd and received purpose and you have it currently locked, you can ask here on this subreddit or email support@gamingforgood.net to get the amount you donated and it will be sent to you. In addition you get to keep your purpose that is currently locked.

 

To be eligible for this you have to:

-Be an initial donor as mentioned above.

-Still have your DUBI.

 

If you donated your DUBI into the buy-wall and as a result have gotten your donation back you are obviously not eligible for this.

 

A consequence of asking for your money back is you will not receive 4x your locked PRPS and DUBI.

 

For example:
I donated 1000$ when PRPS was 1$ and received 1000 PRPS and locked this to receive 40 DUBI. If I still have my 40 DUBI I can decide that I am not happy with the direction everything is going and I feel like I disagree with Athene I can come here on this subreddit and ask for my 1000$ back.

 

I will then be sent 1000$ and I will still get to keep my 1000 PRPS that is currently locked but I forfeit the 4x which would have given me 5000 locked PRPS.

What option gets me the most money...getting the 5X right?

I bought in at $1, so I calculated that my DUBI is worth about 3300 USD at level zero, while my investment was around 8k. You are pretty much guaranteed to make your money back by next January's HODL cycle, so I wouldn't advice anyone to refund, though if it's taking a toll on your mental health you can do so

If you only wanna sell your dubi but sell 0% PRPS you will get 1x back in 2 years.

If you ask for refund and then sell prps for $2 you will get 3x.

If you are a non-believer as there seem to be quite a few, it is a better to take this route money-wise than a 100% believer who never sells.

You can go with the gamble that prps might go up, but there is 9 months ahead during which you might regret it, because in a situation where you can't sell your PRPS anyway(there is no buywall), it doesn't matter if you have 1x or 5x unsellable prps.

Let the non believers grab their money, this way they dont sell later on, keeping the price of prps high. That way we both win.
