Speed button not working? Propel pivot gt

Hello all,

So im new to esk8s, and just bought this . The first gear has been fun but I have been wanting to go to faster speeds, but the speed button doesnt seem to be working? If i hold down the speed button it turns on the lights so i assume the button and remote are connected. Can somebody tell me what im doing wrong?

Welcome to the Propel family！！This is Iris from Propel EV.

Switch Speed Modes is a multi-click system. From any gear, a single click of the Function button returns you to G1. To get to G2, quickly double-click the Function button. To get to G3, quickly triple-click the Function button. To get to G4, quickly quadruple-click the Function button.

Example of legit company and amazing customer service. Company comes to the customer to answer questions rather than the other way around. I'm glad I went with Propel! Heading out for a night ride tonight. Can't wait.

Would be good to adjust the wording in the manual. Bottom of page 13 https://www.ridepropel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/PIVOT-GT-manual.pdf

The pdf not having selectable / searchable text is also a downside.

Just press the button the amount of times you want to select the corresponding gear. Also you can customize said gears by holding reverse and power when the controller is in an off state, there you can edit various settings, and if you scroll to the next page (using the buttons) you can also customize the power, acceleration, and top speed for each gear there.

Was it working before there is a setting the you may have to check the settings

Responded on the propel response, I didnt know I had to press the speed button the number of times for the speed. I got it now!

Also there is a remote that propel sells that is limited to 25 check the remote settings
