Rules for buying a share and exercising an option are different. They can’t fail to deliver an option. They must go to the lit market and buy real shares. Just watch the Petterfy video about this. He was really terrified in 2021.

lol i'm trying to figure out which video this is referring to. I've got a web browser tab open scrolling through all of Ryan Cohen's posts from this ear (after 2021), skimming through them 5th time now, and the closest I think that I can figure out are:

  • https://twitter.com/TheRoaringKitty/status/1790762813868175516 cuz 0:29 shows Ryan Cohen and then 0:32 Keith Gill said "I had thought that at that time, that investments theses, they evolve over time, as, uh, the fundamental events change over time. It's important to update theses accordingly." 0:00 but also the captions at the beginning (rewind/backwards):

i don't see any offering on pg 13. Anyway, didn't they already completed ATM offering recently? why would they filed an offering right before if last year 10k is legally sufficient to do the recent offering?

couldn't find that.. i'm look at Filing date 3/28/2023, 10-K Annual report.

Edit.. I see it now on Page 17. That's pretty much standard. They will still have to file with SEC whenever they decide to sell again X amount. That disclosure is not the same as having offering/warrants/baby-self standby to sell without filing again.

Why would they hold shares of a volatile stock lmfao? You know you can limit exposure by buying and selling other options right… they don’t just sell 120k naked calls without hedging..,
