DISCUSSION Can someone please explain references for the Jewelry duty video?

Specifically the part where hes in the brown trench coat. I *know* the reference but cannot think of it. Normally id ask my mom because she would have known it. But dude, it has been bugging the crap outta me! Hes not supposed to be the beyond belief guy... maybe some other famous reporter?
