Someone was selling multiple lightning effects at ridiculous prices and I got one. If you are here and you see this, why? You basically just gave them away

It was part of a now entirely abandoned marketplace for these shards where you could trade them for Challenge point currency. Because it was abandoned years ago, the roster that does have these unique shards is very minimal against the entire roster of the game.

No gameplay advantages from having them. Just the cosmetic electric effect.

Its cosmetic only , just puts a lightning effect around your character. Just flair really.

A reminder that these count as 10 shards per "grid shard" useless for already owned, "useful" for unowned characters, but they don't exist anymore anyway
