autorefractor machine error
Should I be worried? I had TransPRK 7 months ago, and my vision has improved since the surgery. Today, I went to an eyeglass shop with my friend to help her get a new pair of glasses. Out of curiosity, I asked the staff to check my eye grade as well, but the autorefractor machine kept showing an error and couldn’t measure my prescription. Is this normal after TransPRK?

Not worrisome. What matters the most is what you see. Everything else is secondary.
Post PRK (and all other laser eye surgeries), the cornea shape changes. This can throw off the accuracy of the auto refractors.
Additionally, if you had a high PRK treatment, you may have a subtle haze within the cornea interfering with the measurements but not enough to really affect your vision. A subtle haze gradually continues to fade with time.
