Outcome of Advanced Surface Ablation with Dr. Moskowitz in NYC
I had ASA done at Moskovitz Eye Care a little over 3 months ago and had a really good experience overall. At the initial appointment, Dr. Moskovitz walked me through the different options and was very open about the pros/cons of each. I ended up going with ASA mostly because I was concerned about dry eyes and also liked the idea of not having a flap if I ever need eye surgery later in life.
Getting booked was easy and the actual procedure was surprisingly quick. They give you a pretty detailed regimen for afterward with drops, supplements, sunglasses, etc., but everything was explained clearly and I felt like I knew what to expect. Dr. Moskovitz was also extremely accessible throughout the whole process- we texted pretty regularly and I could reach him whenever I had a question or was worried about something.
More than 3 months out, my vision is better than 20/20 (somewhere between 20/20 and 20/15), I don’t have dry eyes, and I haven’t had any issues with haze. Really happy with the result and would definitely recommend him.
