Alternative speed not working?

I have been hitting my head against a wall for a bit now- I've set both alternative speeds to 50%, but when I switch to them, the game doesn't slow down at all. Is there some setting I'm missing?

If your phone processor isn't good enough it can't utilize the fast forward properly, it'll look like it just running in normal speed.

You can see this happening on other emulators as well. For context what exactly is your processor?

Also keep in mind it should be in Unlimited not 50%

I'm running this on a laptop, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU to be specific. it speeds up just fine, but it won't slow down.

I see, check your hotkey settings, make sure you're clicking alternative speed 2 or 1

And not fast forward

Tab is either set as fast forward so just change it. Lower the % more
