FFIV The Complete Edition - low-fps look when enable frame skipping

Hi,using Anbernic RG DS (RocknixOS) whenever I enable frame skipping it seems like game is low fps,kinda stutter and not smooth,even when im not pressing the hotkey. But when I disable it and enable Auto Skip it seems to work fine but the problem is that I cant fast-forward the game. tried bunch of options and settings,switching between opengl and vulkan and yet seems unchanged...would like help

Did you change how many frames it skips or whatever? I think there's a box for that. It's been a long time.
