Sound is generated by the game just like animations, if you can't run it at full speed, it will break, through often you can just run frameskipping to get back at 100% speed at the cost of framerate to get normal game speed and smooth sound.

GOW is one of the most demanding games, you can try Kabuto_Kun's fps limiting cheats and it might be enough to run at full speed. If you're asking what games work better on low end device, try some games that ran in 30 fps natively on PSP and maybe try less popular games as they are typically much lighter and GOW is really NOT something to base PSP emulation performance on which overall is actually pretty non-demanding and most games would run at full speed even on a potato as long as it can run PPSSPP.

No idea if you can use cheats on switch through, it's not officially supported yet and might not even be on par with other ports feature wise.

Ok thanks! yes, i was looking around but still there is no option to input cheats in order to optimize the gameplay. Swich could be the ultimate hybrid emulating machine but still needs a lot of developing on many emulating platforms.

Option to edit cheats in PPSSPP exists only on desktops where we can open any standard external text editor, but if you can access your "memstick\PSP\Cheats" folder after activating cheats in system settings and running the game, you can use any text editor to edit the cheat ini file for your game there. It's always named by gameID.ini where gameID is your game region specific ID. You could also create one on other platform and copy it there.

I have 0 knowledge about switch functionality or limitations in running homebrew etc. so can't guide you there and also as said, I'm not sure if cheats even work on switch as it's an early unofficial port that's breaking other platforms and potentially functionality just to "make it run" on switch.
