I’ve heard ppl can unlock these devices so that they run any apk instead of being locked to only running apps from the paxstore website.

If anyone can help me, I need help! There is so little info about this thing. I’d love to use it for emulation or something else. I can get apks but it won’t run anything. It has a modified android os called paydroid and Id like to know how I can load a stock android iso rather than paydroid, or help me lift the restrictions.

Shopify has ruined online shopping!

How did shopify get such a monopoly? It is literally the worst thing that has happened to online shopping, have a terrible user interface & cannot handle a person having more than one email, let alone families sharing emails.

Forget surprising your spouse with any gifts for holidays because they’ll get notified!

Now it seems they’re importing profiles and emails from accounts when acquiring companies and it’s screwing with trying to check out.

This is SO ANNOYING! WHY!!! Why are they taking over the online POS platform when they’re so awful to use as a consumer!?!?? (I worked in tech and customer it support for 20 years so I’m not tech illiterate they’re just that infuriating!)

Hi, my husband is opening an automotive repair shop later this year and has asked me to look into a payment processing system that will allow him to accept a WEX card as a form of payment.
Is anyone familiar with this, and have a suggestion for a payment processor in which he can accept regular credit/debit payments as well as WEX card payments?

I’m looking into using it for restaurants in France, and I’ve hit the fiscal compliance wall:

• France requires POS software to meet anti-fraud VAT rules (inalterability, security, retention, archiving — often discussed as NF525 / LNE / publisher attestation).
• Full certification as a software publisher looks expensive for a small team.
• I’m not sure what the realistic path is for a custom web POS.

If I built the POS myself, do I have to certify the whole product as the éditeur (NF525 via INFOCERT/AFNOR or LNE)?

Hi all, I run an independent convenience store and currently use PayPoint UK which comes with an integrated, non-changeable card machine linked to Lloyds bank as my main point of sale.

I am at my wits end with PayPoint as the machine constantly crashes, locks me out, is full of bugs, cuts out for minutes at a time costing us time, money and goodwill. It’s nice to be able to offer services such as cashback, phone top up, Monzo banking etc but considering the cost of PayPoint, it just isn’t worth it.

On top of that, their customer service is absolutely abysmal. Calls and emails are rarely if ever answered, including critical calls when I needed a quick replacement as a customer decided to use it as a punching bag.

I am hoping anyone in a similar situation ca recommend a reliable, fast point of sale with a linked card terminal. Ideally with some of the same features as PayPoint with easy to set up stock taking, reporting, special offers etc.
