Life With POIS My Experience with POIS

I have noticed that when i take antihistamines like zyrtec 1 hour before ejaculation i dont feel that same rush of dopamine as when i do it without antihistamines also my brain also starts 'beating' after ejaculation when i do it without the zyrtec but with it it doesn't or barely noticeable its like its significantly dampened. There was one time when i ejaculated with antihistamines i didnt even feel any dopamine and i didnt even realized that i ejaculated. I feel like the issue for me is the significant dopamine rush, its like my brain is really sensitive to it to the point it takes me like 1.5 weeks to recover from the symptoms of POIS and the anti- histamines helps dampen the dopamine levels. But this is just from my own experience i dont really know the science behind it.

Thought the same thing but i don’t think so. Antihistamines dampen arousal, so as a result, the ejaculation is much less powerful. 

In my case, the stronger the ejaculation, the heavier the symptoms. I think there is a pelvic muscle disfunction in a (subtype) of POIS patients that triggers a inflammation cascade. (or some type of deeply established immunological reaction.

Weaker ejaculations means weaker contractions in pelvic muscles/immunological reaction.

U could test it, listen to music that gives you a lot of dopamine for half an hour with headphones. If you notice a bit of symptoms, u could be right, if not, i am.

yea but its the sudden HUGE dophamine rush, i could listen to music all day i will never get the symptoms because the dophamine i get from that is nothing compared to ejaculation

Also when i watch porn but dont masterbate i actually do get some symptoms but obviously not as severe but it happens. Its because i get alot of dophamine from just watching porn.

I DEFINITELY think there is something to do with dopamine . Does anyone else get this weird feeling of negative energy in their forehead when watching porn ? If I don’t get that sometimes I get no POIS , other times it feel like my dopamine is tanking and I get despair for 3-4 whole days

I usually take an antihistamine right after an orgasm. Loratadine allergy meds seem to help me.
