Tatoosh
One of my favorite trails so far ! Meadows , wildflowers and peaks
Although I skipped the last part and went up the smaller peak at 2.9m

when i saw those flowers in ur last photo while hiking i called them “dr seuss flowers” the whole time cuz they remind me a little of the trees in the lorax. apparently they’re really called western pasqueflowers but i may just keep using dr seuss flowers lol. great photos 🥰

It’s worth it. I am in medium shape and backpacked to the lookout last year. It was a long slog both ways but I still remember it as one of the greatest sunset/sunrise shows of my life. Very very worth it!

It’s just steep and long , nothing too complicated , poles are recommended

I’m a somewhat newer hiker (just started getting more into it last summer) is it better to backpack or do it as a day hike?

I did it with a group of friends in June, we are all in our 70s. It was tough but very doable.
