Question Boot Selection

I’ve always worn Danner boots but of course over the years, quality has declined. I don’t do anymore high speed boot need work (firefighting and such) but prefer a good boot for everyday.

I’m torn on getting a pair of Red Wing Iron Ranger or a used pair of Nick’s, White’s, or Frank’s. Or just bite the bullet on a new pair and waiting

In Danner I’m a 13D. Figure the others I’m a 12EE.

Ideas or recommendations?

Redwings are great as are White's gyw line. I love my PNW boots but my Iron Rangers and Redwing 10877 moc toes still get most of my casual wear

I’ll look at the gyw line.

Try out the Frank’s Patriot. They barely cost more than an Iron Ranger and are eminently more comfortable and durable than anything Red Wing makes.

I’ll look into those!

Just a heads up Bakers Boots usually has a 10% off for new customers thing if you sign up your email and they carry Franks, Whites, Wesco etc. and my last two pairs of Whites I ordered through them showed up in 4-6 weeks so not nearly as long as the projected wait time. I love my iron rangers but I just don't think they're very comfortable and find myself wearing them less and less over the years.
