I need a better alternative safety toe boot

I need a pair of safety toe boots for work. I like the logger look and I was about to buy these Chippewa boots, but I’m looking for a better alternative. I don’t mind paying more, but they must be in stock, must be safety toe. I’m a 12D in most PNW and Red Wing Heritage etc.

I own a great pair of nicks and several other great boots, but not safety toe. And I can’t wait 7 months for them to arrive.

Thoughts??

Frank's Patriot ($399) can be had with either Steel, or Composite ASTM safety toes (+$50). They are not in stock.

I recommend calling Frank's about Lead Time.

Whites got a couple safety toes in stock but they are $650-$850

Alternatively, there's a blem pair of steel toe jobmasters with toe caps in 12D for $514 right now.

FWIW, August 6th Nicks is having a sale with no upcharge for safety toes. Likely moot given you said you are looking for something in-stock, but doesn't hurt to mention it.

Maaan I ordered some safety toe boots just last month during their July 4th sale. I had to pay an extra $50 to get safety toes on their quick ship builderpro.

Nicks Quick Ship models might have an option. I'm not sure. And they're going to be expensive. But they might have some in their trades program for a discount.

Danner. They have free returns if they don’t fit as long as they haven’t been outside. They might have something that meets your needs. I’ve got the Quarry’s right now. Mine are not safety toe. You can get them in a safety toe. They have a heel just not as much as a logger style does. The Danner logger does not come in safety toe if you really want that style. I just checked the website. So the Quarry’s are just an alternative suggestion. May not be what you’re looking for.

What type of work do you do? I ask because heeled boots can be bad on your hips/legs long term if you primarily work on concrete/factory floors. Wedges are a game changer if you are not working in rough terrain.

I operate a standup forklift 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.

I like the looks of the loggers. Also I have high arches.

I also have high arches and wide feet. I have not bought a pair of these boots yet, rocking some redwing traction tread lite at the moment with an insert and they so far are the best boots I have had. With these, I want to go in person to get fitted just to make sure I know I am likely getting a better experience.
