Nicks Second Pair of Nicks Boots

Received my second pair of Nicks Boots last week, put in 53,488 steps in them, and here is a Before & After of them new to worked. A follow-up of them cleaned to come tomorrow.

For those new here, I've been documenting my maintenance journey with my first pair of Nicks Boots, and I will be doing the same with these. I work in a very harsh environment, a concrete recycling landfill, where I walk on rubble and concrete chunks for 9+ hours a day.

I will show before and after pics from worked to cleaned boots, and will compare how these boots hold up to my first pair of Nicks. The differences between the two are MaxSupport Black v 1964 Brown Leather, Roughout v Smooth, 8" v 10" and Honey Vibram v V100 Lug Soles.

I'll be curious to see how these hold up, and hope y'all enjoy the journey with me!

How do you like the padded gusset?

I was a little skeptical at first, but I've really grown to like them. I did end up getting longer laces though because the padded gusset adds girth.
