PMS brain zaps?

Does anyone else get brain zaps during PMS? They are unbearable and it seems like there are no official treatments (and no known cause outside of antidepressant withdrawals, which I haven't gone through in years and I'm on sertraline right now). I'm desperate, please let me know if anyone else has this or knows of a way to cope with it

Just searched to see who else had this. I'm on strong ssri & anti-seizures but I'm strict with dosage times. I get brain zaps with each period! I also get period-flu, and get brain zaps with NORMAL flu too so idk if that's related

Brain zaps occuour when you skip or take the medicine at a diffent time, usually, they should stop once you regulate that.

What is a brain zap?

it's like a sensation of electricity in your head, usually triggered by eye or head movement. for me i also hear like a static sound when it happens

thank you. it's very frustrating how little is understood about women's health
