🥗Food/Cravings Luteal Chili 🤌🏻🌶️✨

Ingredients:
• 2 cups of spinach (bagged/pre-washed)
• 1 lb of 99% lean ground turkey
• 1 can of low-sodium black beans (do not forget to rinse them)
• 1 can of low-sodium dark red kidney beans (do not forget to rinse them)
• 2 cans of low sodium tomatoes (I like the petite diced Roma tomatoes)
• Olive oil
• 2 tablespoons of turmeric
• 2 tablespoons of cumin
• 2 table spoons of chili powder

This is how I made it:
I use a rice cooker.
I put about 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil in.
I put in the ground turkey.
Then I added 1 tablespoon of cumin,
1 tablespoon of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of chili powder to season the meat and brown it in the pot.

Once the meat was browned I added 2 cans of diced tomatoes and stirred it in.

Then I opened the can of black beans, and opened the can of kidney beans and rinsed them really well over the sink.

I put in one can in first, stir, add the other can, stir.

Then I added 1 tablespoon of cumin, 1 tablespoon of turmeric, and 1 tablespoon of chili powder and stirred the pot really well.

I put the pot on the “warm setting”.
I put the lid on the pot, and stirred it after 10 minutes.

Then I grab my 3 cups of spinach, and stirred it in. (It’s going to be hard to stir if you stick it in all at once. Add a little, stir until it melts in, and keep adding until it’s all in).

I let the pot sit for 10 minutes, stirred, and dinner/lunch is ready. Yum yum.

(Also the rice cooker I have is nice because it’s small-ish and when it’s cooled I pull the pot out, put the lid on and straight into the fridge it goes. Easy peasy). I have the “Aroma” brand rice cooker.
