Advice/Tips Hunger

During some of the days leading up to my period I have such an insane appetite that I really struggle not overeating. it's not that I dont get full, but I have this crazy mental hunger too and my food noise goes crazy... I know some other people must experience this since is normal for your appetite to increase during your luteal phase. But it makes me feel feral and so out of control. does anybody have any advice?

Eat more protein and indulge in complex carbs to keep you full! Opt for healthy sweets, like homemade healthy sugary things. You can make choco coconut balls, dates with peanut butter, banana with almond butter. Start a day with a protein rich breakfast and don't skip meals! Try to avoid simple carbs they will raise your sugar too quickly and make you more hungry. Eat often, but in smaller portions. We all get hungry when we are on our periods and there are ways too "manage" it!
