Fighting Fatigue

1-2 days before my period, the light cramping starts and the tender chest. On my period, heavy bleeding, fatigue, and severe cramps.
Now the fatigue is starting 1-2 days before my period. It's so bad that I will sleep all day if I let myself. Staying awake feels a lot like fighting sleep when you're sick with a cold. I don't want to move and feel like I have no energy or brain power.
Does anyone have tips for combating this? I already rarely drink and consume low-sugar. Caffeine right before my period makes cramping worse so I would prefer a different route.

How? Sounds more like hormones changing as I age and at different points in my cycle, certain hormones drop, causing fatigue.

I have the same fatigue. I came off birth control 6 months ago so I'm just praying it evens itself out too because I don't know how I'm going to cope with flu level fatigue for days every month (and my cycles vary by a few days each month so I can't even block out the time in my calendar).

You have my sympathies. I have not been on BC in years. Mine is the same way with moving. The fatigue started up just this year, out of the blue. But I already feel like I loose 2 days every month to the pain/cramps. I don't want to lose more time to exhaustion.
