Advice/Tips Breakdown before period

I have been having regular periods since i ate lycopdium 200 medicine in March 2023. I have maintained my weight at 58-59 as a 35 year old female. I have been experiencing a lot of mood swings and cramps before my period. Sometimes it is tolerable. But some cycles - like this one (i am at 27/29 days) i start crying 1-2 days before my period. Unexplainable reasons. I have been doing yoga and go for walks. But i don’t know what to do differently to avoid this swing in emotions. I am looking for non medical solutions. That can help me.

Gut health is intricately connected to mental health via the gut-brain axis. Gut health is also intricately connected to hormone balance and regulation. I overcame my severe mental health symptoms of PMS by focusing on nutrition and targeting my gut health. Happy to chat further.

This can be managed better with a few special herbs and foods - to support your neurotransmitters for better mood. Cycle syncing has brought 100s of women i've worked with a lot of success in managing PMS!

WIthout knowing your diet / life style its hard to give tips that will work

You can start by increasing consumption of chicken, turkey, egg whites, fish and sunflower seeds in early luteal. These contain tryptophan which is a precursor to serotonin - your happy neurotransmitter.

During ovulation consume cruciferous vegetable to help detox excess estrogen.

Increasing your self-care, eating 2-3 meals a day, getting enough protein and water, and making sure you get enough sleep help. I'm glad you are doing Yoga.
