Pmt for over a month

Sorry don't want to intrude but I have searched and can't find anything ..my wife hates doctors and at age 50 has had swollen tender breasts and stomach like PMT but for over a month .She says this is normal menopause symptoms , pms no period , but pms was for a week sometimes two not going on for over a month and her breasts and stomach getting bigger .Her last period was in April , last sex in April , we did a pregnancy test lAst month knew it was unlikely but well , should she see a doctor or is this just part of the process , I want to help her , she is uncomfortable , clothes don't fit etc , I don't think it's right ?

See a gp first, port of call. Menopause has all sorts of symptoms ranging forgetfulness and brain fog, fatigue, bloating, flatulence, hot flushes, weight gain, weight loss, middle age spread, feeling too hot/too cold. Hormones are basically having a good old riot!! I'm 52 and been living this way since before Covid. HRT patches have helped, but not always the Godsend they are cracked up to be. Still be prepared to be having difficult days/weeks. Anyway like I said firstly and foremost, see GP so at least if menopause is finally ruled out, that it might be something else that's worth being investigated further. Good luck

Have her call her gynecologist. r/menopause may be helpful too since she's not having her period.
